The historic Rome City Auditorium is over 100 years old; it officially opened to the public on June 28, 1916 and was added to National Registry of Historic places in 1983.The City Auditorium is the home of the Rome Symphony Orchestra, the oldest continuous symphony orchestra in the Southeast.
